Owner, Amy Crouch, has been in the beauty industry for 20+ years. In 2008, she started her hair and makeup journey in Westport only steps from her current location. During that time, she developed a comprehensive understanding of how a salon could and should be run. With her knowledge and passion in tow, she then opened "Tease Premier Salon & Blow Dry Bar." For over 7 years, she maintained a team of experienced stylists familiar with the latest trends.
During the Covid-19 shut down in March of 2020, Amy realized her passions had been challenged and what she needed was an “Antidote” to continue doing what she loved most. Re-branding and remodeling was going to be “the remedy” for the future of the salon. While waiting to reopen and return to the studio, she worked hard, brainstorming on a new platform.

Not only was she in need of this rejuvenating mindset, she knew everyone else would need an “Antidote” for their neglected beauty (and social) needs following the shut down too. THAT WAS IT!!! ”Antidote Salon and Beauty Bar “ was born.

At Antidote we strive to listen to our clients’ wishes and requests, and we're proud to offer professional styling and beauty services in a fun, relaxing, and welcoming environment. While we have moved beyond a blow dry bar, we are happy to announce our addition of a beauty bar which has opened up a new set of services that will continue to blow our clients away including luxury facials, relaxing body wraps, full body waxing, and more. We currently specialize in Wedding Day and Special Occasion hair and makeup, Brazilian Blowouts, and stylish up-to-date haircut and Color looks for men and women. Amy has worked in the beauty and fashion industry for 20+ years. Continuing education has always played a part in her beauty path in order to keep up with the never ending changes that happen in this amazing industry. She's a color specialist and can rock any blonde tone, vivid color, or mysterious dark dimensional look. When it comes to listening to your wants and needs, Amy will create a look that fits your facial shape AND your personality. She not only specializes in the hair behind the chair but creates numerous makeup and special occasion hairstyles for weddings (40+ per year), local fashion shows, photoshoots, and movie sets. Lead Stylist, Hair Extensions Specialist, Beauty Bridal Artist
The lovely Courtney is a graduate of Washburn Tech Cosmetology school, class of 2020. Courtney joined the Antidote team as an Associate Stylist and has quickly moved her way up to a level 2 Stylist and is very excited to be creating amazing hair for her own sensational clients. She specializes in vivid color and funky, sassy hair styles, but don't be mislead, she is very skilled with all our varieties of beauty services!
